2024 Legal College

We are excited to invite you to participate in the 2024 Legal College in San Diego from October 22 to October 24. This year, we embrace the theme “Passport to Adventure: Exploring the Laws of Child Support,” aiming to provide an immersive educational experience for the child support legal community of California. The College is an essential tool to assist attorneys and non-attorney staff with learning about the ever-changing legal and policy landscape of child support. Registration Information

Full conference registration includes:

  • All conference materials
  • Admission to all sessions at the conference
  • Breakfast (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday), lunch (Tuesday and Wednesday), and daily refreshment breaks
  • Networking Reception (Tuesday)
  • MCLE Credits (as provided with designated workshops)
Cancellation Policy: User-initiated cancellations without penalty can be made online prior to September 27th, 2024. After this date, registered attendees unable to attend due to special circumstances must submit a detailed written request to CSDA for refund consideration.

HOTEL INFORMATION

The Sheraton Mission Valley San Diego is the host hotel for the conference. The room block rate at the Hyatt Regency is $179 (plus applicable taxes and fees) per night. The cut-off date for the group rate is Friday, September 27, 2024.  To make hotel reservations online, click here.  Discounted Self-Parking$18/per day (this special discount for conference attendees is for self-parking only).

SCHOLARSHIPS

The CSDA Training Scholarship program was established to provide awards for the education, training and professional development of CSDA members and others working in the public Child Support program.

  • The scholarship can include money towards: registration, hotel, airfare and meals for a single child support training event up to $1,200 for in-state training, and a maximum of $2,000 for out-of-state training.
  • Scholarships for out-of-state training are limited to one per year.

The application must be submitted no later than 60 days prior to the training event. Please note, that if the training event is not organized by CSDA, please attach a complete agenda, training curriculum and registration form. Applicants should submit a Scholarship Application and related documentation to info@csdaca.org.
