A Coalition of Experts Collecting Billions for California's Children

The Child Support Directors Association of California (CSDA) was established in 2001 as a non-profit association to represent the local child support directors of California's 58 counties. The association strives to be of service to local child support agencies (LCSA) in their effort to provide children and families with the financial, medical, and emotional support required to be productive and healthy citizens in our society.

Affordable Care Act of 2010

California is moving aggressively to implement the requirements of the Affordable Care Act of 2010 (ACA). In response, CSDA and State DCSS have established an Affordable Care Act Workgroup whose charge is to identify and make recommendations on any policy or operational issues that need to be addressed prior to ACA going-live in January of 2014. CSDA will be sending out periodic updates to the Membership about important and emerging issues that are identified by the workgroup. In addition to CSDA, DCSS and local child support agencies, the ACA Workgroup also includes representatives from the State Health and Human Services Agency, OCSE Region IX and the Administrative Office of the Courts. The Affordable Care Act and its potential impact on the local and State Child Support Program will be highlighted at the 2013 CSDA Annual Conference and Expo.
